Our long-term objective, in addition to ensuring a high quality of care for institutionalized children, is to be able to influence policy changes so that children in orphanages who are below the age of 6 years and are eligible for adoption, can move into the adoption stream. For those who remain institutionalized, we hope to work towards a quality of care and rehabilitation that is comparable to our own homes.

We currently work with 8 Destitute Homes/ Orphanages-4 each, in Maharashtra and Orissa respectively. Between them, there are about 800 children in the age-group of 0-18 years. Our support initiatives cover education, vocation, health and recreation.
