Let There Be Light : Diwali 2022
India is home to one of the largest populations of children living in institutional homes. These often forgotten children miss out on some of the simple pleasures that we take for granted. One of these is celebrating festivals.
This Diwali #LetThereBeLight in the lives of vulnerable children. Your gift will help us illuminate the lives of 3,000 children across 45 childcare institutional homes. These children will get the opportunity to celebrate the festival of light and bring happiness in their otherwise lives full of gloom. Be their diya, their hope, their light.
With your contribution we will help organize Diwali celebrations in each of the 45 homes. These celebrations will include a get-together of the children and engaging in traditional Diwali activities followed by a meal and a small gift.
This simple act will mean the world for these children who have no family or support structures and for whom the festivities of Diwali are a distant dream.
So, will you #LetThereBeLight in the lives of vulnerable children this Diwali?
