Neeti Chopra is a marketing and general management professional with over 25 years of experience across a diverse set of consumer businesses including retail and media. She is currently Brand Director of The Economic Times and Times Metro Supplements and is a part of the BCCL Executive Committee. Neeti started her career with the Tata group as a TAS officer and worked across a diverse set of companies including Tata Interactive Systems, Tata Sons and Trent. She played a key role in establishing the business of Tata Interactive Systems, India’s first and leading multimedia organization. Working as the head of marketing of Westside and Star Bazar, she helped extend the brands into new products, formats and consumer segments.
An early digital native, Neeti was part of the core team that launched indya.com, a leading consumer based horizontal portal. She worked on building content, services, marketing and strategic partnerships for the indya.com consumer, which served to enhance the brand appeal. In her early years, Neeti also worked in advertising in Ogilvy and Leo Burnett where she helped launch and revitalize several Indian and global products successfully. Neeti is a postgraduate in International Studies (Jawaharlal Nehru University) and did her graduation from Lady Sriram College, New Delhi.
